About Me
In 2012 I left my 15 year career in Advertising as a Vice President, moved from San Francisco to Pittsburgh to be closer to family and rediscovered a lifelong passion for Interior Design. As a child, my mother owned apartment buildings that she was always renovating and my parents bought a 100 year old Victorian home that they renovated over the course of my childhood. Growing up, I was always reworking furniture, painting and redesigning my space.
I now have over 10 years of interior design experience. I spent the first 6 being mentored under a designer in West Virginia, traveling to High Point Furniture Market bi-annually and implementing my skills for friends, family and my own homes. From there, I went back to school for interior design and in 2019 I launched Interiors by Seashal.
I have a strong passion for creating comfortable and luxurious homes that reflect my client’s personality and the functionality of their space. As a full service interior designer, I specialize in custom furniture, custom drapery, room design, lighting, accessories, wall art, wallcoverings, cabinetry design and home renovations.
I am driven to exceed expectations through thoughtful customized designs and meticulous attention to detail. I will ultimately deliver you a place you are proud of, a place that reflects you… a place that feels like home. I also promise that if you trust the process, we’ll have a lot of fun along the way!
Giving Back
I am a volunteer on the Policy Council at Blueprints. They provide services to families in Western PA that are struggling with poverty and give them the blueprints for self-sufficiency and building a better future. When possible, I work with my clients to donate their old furniture to a local family in need. I am also one of the creators of Blueprints’ “A Little Lift” project. This is a crowd-sourcing site where you can donate towards a “LIFT” that has been selected by a Blueprint’s Case Worker. A portion of my profits will go to providing local families “A Little LIFT”.
